Spacial and CBS Partner to Offer Syndicated Programming
Program syndication aimed at Internet radio stations.
Dallas, TX, April 14, 2009 – Filling a large void in Internet radio, Spacial has partnered with CBS Radio News to offer Internet-only radio stations the opportunity to carry syndicated CBS programming. CBS Newscasts, Tech News, Weekend News Roundup, World News Roundup, and the highly respected 60 Minutes (audio) can be scheduled to run on any station using Spacial’s SAM Broadcaster.
“This is a first for Internet radio,” says Spacial CEO Bryan Payne. “Pure-play online radio stations now have an ability to provide listeners with familiar, quality news content from a major network at low cost.”
Spacial CTO Louis Louw elaborates, “Having high quality syndication content automatically scheduled into the broadcast lets online broadcasters improve the quality of their broadcast without extra work. Access to this level of quality content was simply not in the budget for smaller online broadcasters, until now.”

Partnering with a leading software and technology company like Spacial gives CBS Interactive a direct connection to thousands of online-only radio stations.”
